Hello I am Karen Walton, a well established photographer based in Brighouse, halfway between Huddersfield and Bradford. I serve Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, Halifax and the wider area, providing Professional Photography services..
I have a fun, natural and relaxed attitude as I am passionate about my photography and take pride in my work along with my customer service, which was recognized by becoming a finalist in The North of England Wedding Awards for Outstanding Customer Service 2012 & 2013, also Lux Magazine Wedding Photographer of the year 2017 and 2018 – for which I am very proud. I still get nervous before a shoot, but I feel this is because of the enthusiasm I feel for what I do.

Lifestyle
Whether it is on location or with the backdrop. Portraits need to be fun, relaxed and not too serious, so as to get the best response for the sitter. So the best shots, I think are always the laughing ones with that special twinkle in the eye. I take as much time as I need, so it is not constrained, especially with children and babies. For Glamorous ladies a make up artist can be arranged prior to the sitting.
Patter of Tiny Feet
This is a special time for the mums to be, whether this is the first time or a new addition to the family. So, while you still feel comfortable, I will come and photograph your bump in the privacy of your own home, using various props which can add a fun and exciting element to the shoot. Also I like to get your other half or members of your family involved too.
Peek a Boo Boudoir
This could be Bridal Boudoir (included with the wedding package) on the special day. Or something special for the man in your life, even just a treat for yourself. I would come to visit your proposed location for the shoot and chat with you about possible posses to make sure that you are completely comfortable with me. The shots will be tasteful, sexy and glamorous. A make-up artist can be arranged prior to the shoot.
