In October we had pleasure in photographing Cheryl & Laurent’s special day, this was a wedding filled with love from family & friends.  The magic happened at the Church with Cheryl’s son singing specially for them, also with readings from those who are close to the couple.  Then if was off to Berties for the wedding breakfast and even though it was getting dark earlier we managed to get a couple of shots outside.  There was lots of fun to be had on such a wonderful day gathering memories of special moments.

In September I had the pleasure of photographing Donna & Stewart on their special day at Holiday Inn – Brighouse. First off all it was off to Donna’s Mums for the Bridal Preparation which I love photographing as I capture all the fantastic moments leading up to the Wedding Service. Then it was meeting Stewart and his Best Woman (yes you heard correct). It was a lovely day weather wise so we got some great shots after the Service in the Court Yard and also the grounds, here is a little video highlighting Donna & Stewart’s fantastic day.

A little earlier this year we had the pleasure of photographing this lovely wedding at Oulton Hall.  The weather was pretty good and we got some great shots of the guys getting ready as well as the Bride which is always a bonus.  The bridesmaids looked stunning and so the do the happy couple, everybody had a great time at this beautiful venue.  The grounds and the rooms are really lovely and it is always a pleasure to photograph weddings there.  Ruth and Jonathan had a really fantastic day with some beautiful touches and details to their wedding attire.

In October it was Tanya’s and Dave’s Wedding at Spring Hall in Halifax  (for the legal service) and Crow Nest Park Golf Club. The theme for the day was Superhero’s and Freddie Tanya’s son certainly was that – he was so emotional he melted every bodies heart.  At Spring Hall there is a secret location which I took the happy couple too after the service and got some great shots in the Autumn sunshine, afterwards we went to Crow Nest where Tanya and Dave had another personal ceremony  with more guests watching what was a great fun way of celebrating their union.  After the wedding breakfast we got some shots on the Golf Course and later we had the Cigar Shot, which is well known in the Hamer circle of friends.  The first dance was also an emotional one when Tanya danced with her brother.  Even though it was very dark outside we got some shots for the Sparkles.

We were at the beautiful Hollins Hall for Joanne & Anthony’s wonderful wedding.  Even though the weather was far from perfect we had a great time with what was an emotional roller coaster of a day.  Joanne looked beautiful and her bridesmaids looked fabulous also, the little stars of the show where Joanne & Anthony’s two little boys, they were so cute on the day.  Here is a video of the highlights from their magical day.

Back in June I photographed a lovely wedding in the sunny setting of Coley Church.  Rebecca’s dad is the vicar there, though not conducting this wedding but giving his lovely daughter away.  First off all it was off to Mum and Dad’s for the bridal prep where there was loads going on, so got some great shots in the vicarage of dresses, shoes, flowers and accessories.   After that I caught up with Oliver at the church.  Now the church is also the reception venue with sandwiches, teas and cake also an ice cream van to cool things down as it was quite a nice and warm sunny day.  After the service the guests milled around the church grounds which is nestled in some lovely scenery and enjoyed the afternoon.  One of the highlights of the day is the arrival of the bride in a bright yellow vintage car which if it had wings it was reminiscent of  Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
